The Sheep Sanctuary is a non-profit farm animal sanctuary providing care and shelter for elderly, neglected or discarded ruminants (sheep and goats), and other creatures in need.
We are the only animal sanctuary in Santa Fe County or in New Mexico, that specializes in the care and shelter of sheep and goats in addition to other farm and domestic animals.
The need for this type of sanctuary is growing as the current economic climate is producing a greater number of discarded and neglected animals, as well as voluntarily surrendered pets that people just can't afford to feed.
